Passport/Visas:

A valid passport is required for your travel.  Effective January 23, 2007, all persons, including U.S. citizens traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Bermuda, and the Caribbean (with the exception of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) will require a valid passport to enter or re-enter the United States.  As early as January 1, 2008, all persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda by land or sea (including ferries), may be required to present a valid passport or other documents as determined by the Department of Homeland Security.

If a visa is required, please send an email request for a letter of invitation on Deloitte letterhead to Mickey Appel in our Houston office. Please include the name as it appears on the passport, passport number, expiration date, issue date, place of issue, nationality, date of birth, travel dates, and a fax number where the letter should be sent.

Airport:
Plan your flight in and out of either George Bush International Airport (IAH). Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) may also be used, but it is considerably farther away from the hotel.  

Ground Transportation:
From George Bush International Airport - The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel is located approximately 20 miles from George Bush InterContinental Airport.  Taxis are available at a cost of approximately $60.00 one-way and the trip will take approximately 30 minutes.

From William P. Hobby Airport - The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel is located approximately 40 miles from the William P. Hobby Airport.  Taxis should cost approximately $90.00 - $100.00 one-way and the trip should take approximately 60 minutes.
