Content Description:
In this two-day session, you will enhance your technical accounting skills and learn about key financial accounting and reporting issues that standard-setters and regulators have been addressing.
Learning Objectives:
This two-day session will reinforce key accounting skills and enhance your understanding of the current U.S. GAAP environment and its implications for your organization. After completing this training program, you will have a better understanding of the FASB Accounting Standards Codification; recent U.S. GAAP standard-setting activity and the current regulatory environment; recent developments and emerging issues in fair-value accounting, revenue recognition, consolidation of variable-interest entities, and transfers of financial assets; basic income-tax accounting; hot topics and common errors in the statement of cash flows; and the fundamentals of accounting for derivatives.
