Webinar overview
As regional leaders around the world convene to decide on climate investment commitments in advance of COP26, this webinar will bring together key stakeholders to discuss how the U.S.' renewed leadership on combatting climate change is impacting renewable energy sector priorities in the Caribbean. This event will bring together representatives from the U.S. Government as well as regional entities to engage in a discourse on the current state of the Caribbean’s renewable energy sector, climate investment and priorities in the region, the impact of renewed momentum in the sector, and strategies for the future. The event will:
 
  • Bring together public, private, and non-governmental representatives from both the climate and renewable energy arenas to discuss how the U.S.’ renewed commitment to climate change will manifest in the Caribbean’s energy sector
  • Convene regional leaders from multiple U.S. Government agencies in a panel discussion to unpack U.S. priorities and programs at the intersection of climate and energy in the region
  • Provide a forum for discussing pathways to meeting climate change commitments in the region – including through technological, financial, and policy innovations – and gather insights to inform solutions and strategies moving forward
