We greatly look forward to welcoming you to the Forum for Higher Education’s New Era (New Era Forum) and exploring the complex realities and opportunities facing higher education and our broader society with you and an exclusive group college and university presidents and chancellors.
Our program will convene with a reception and dinner on Wednesday evening, December 14th at the Deloitte University campus in Westlake, Texas, and conclude with lunch on Friday, December 16th. Over the course of the day and a half, our diverse group of speakers and panelists will foster robust dialog and interaction on topics pertinent to the future of higher education. In every instance, we will reserve significant time for conversation and discussion.
Approximately two dozen leaders among those invited have been interviewed to help shape the agenda for the inaugural Forum. Our goal for the Forum is to provide a closed door, confidential setting conducive to candid discourse.
We also will provide data and other resources that will enable a fulsome discussion on topics including public confidence in higher education, higher education’s return on investment, challenges facing higher education as an employer, emerging business models, crisis management, and lessons learned from past university leaders.
